Maintenance Information

Fire alarm systems need to be serviced regularly to help increase the life span of the system. Regular service and maintenance helps to identify any problems before they arise, and which could potentially endanger lives.

You should be performing weekly tests on your system to ensure that the alarm sounds. If you notice any problems then you need the help of our experienced engineers.

Your system should be inspected by a fire professional every 6 to 12 months.

At Cook Fire and Security Ltd we aim to offer maximum flexibility. Our specially-designed maintenance contracts enable you to pre-arrange all aspects of your fire alarm system maintenance programme including access times to suit your business needs. In addition we can help with managing the cost of preventative maintenance.

Instead of a substantial one off payment, the cost can be spread evenly over a 5 year period with the ability to plan a monthly budget. This approach, often interest to our larger clients, enables full compliance with UK regulations without affecting cash flows or productivity.

Just some of the benefits of regular service and maintenance:

  • Saving you money by increasing the life of your system
  • Reduces the amount of false alarms by increased reliability
  • Fulfilling your legal requirement
  • Keeping you compliant with your insurance company
